Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The image portrays the Banjara tribal ritual known as Bhohani Chako Purrero. It involves applying cow dung on the floor as a base, upon which a design is drawn with rice flour. At the center of the circle, a pot covered with a colorful cloth, called topli, is placed. Behind the pot sits a rice bag, while a small lamp is positioned in front. This elaborate setup culminates in prayer to their deity. Through these symbolic actions, the Banjara tribe honors their traditions, invoking spiritual connection and communal reverence in their ritualistic practices.
