Description
English: U.S. Soldiers spend time playing dodge ball with Dominican children during a break at Barahona, Dominican Republic, April 24. Soldiers and Airmen, along with Soldiers from partner countries are participating in the U.S. Army South Task Force Larimar humanitarian mission Beyond the Horizon (BTH) 2014 at Barahona, Dominican Republic. Task Force Larimar is currently conducting engineering works at five different sites by constructing three medical clinics and two schools expected to provide better opportunities to the residents of Barahona to receive medical care and education. The task force is also conducting Medical Readiness Training Exercises (MEDRETE) in which medical care is provided to local citizens at no cost. (National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
