Description
English: Built in 1916 as the residence for the first secretary of the US Embassy (Armenian Elias Bessmelian) in Addis Abeba, this building of natural stone construction is one of the significant heritage buildings in Piazza. It is embellished with wooden ornaments along the eave of its roof, with the wooden pillars on the ground floor adding to its grandeur. It is currently housing one Dashen Bank's branches.
