English: Constanzo_Giuseppe_Beschi came to India during 18th century. He (நவம்பர் 8, 1680 - பெப்ரவரி 4, 1747)did many landmarks in Tamil Philology. This is his image at Madurai in Tamil Nadu state, India.
தமிழ்: 18ம் நூற்றாண்டின் முற்பகுதியில் வீரமாமுனிவர் என்று பெயரை மாற்றிக் கொண்ட Constanzo_Giuseppe_Beschi,(joseph beschi என்பது தவறு.காண்க-வீரமாமுனிவர்) இங்ஙனம் இருந்தார் என பின்வரும் நூல் கூறுகிறது.
1822 இல், முதன் முதலாக இவருடைய வரலாற்றைத் தமிழில் எழுதி வெளியிட்ட வித்துவான் முத்துசாமி பிள்ளையவர்கள் இவருடைய நடையுடை பாவனைகளை அப் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறார். 'கிறித்துவமும் தமிழும்' என்ற புத்தகத்தில் இத்தகவல்கள் உள்ளது. திருநெல்வேலி, சைவ சித்தாந்த கழகம் இதனை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. |
