Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Bertoldi Block at the north end of Georgetown's business district. Designed by Thomas G. Bird and built in 1905 by Italian immigrant and future city councilman Germano Bertoldi (1866-1911), who ran the original Georgetown Liquor Company (a bar in the building now uses that name) out of the ground floor and lived in the upstairs quarters until his death in 1911. He is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Issaquah, where the rest of his family was located and where he was a member of the local odd fellows lodge.
