Description

Bersvendveita 9. Går fra Kongens gt til Dronningens gt.; opprinnelig en del av byens løkke. Veita er nevnt i 1768 under sitt nåværende navn, som den har fått etter innenlandshandler og høker Bersvend Olsen Rønning, som omkring 1680 hadde sin krambod i nr 9. Gårdene i veita ble revet av tyskerne like etter 1940. Veita går i dag på baksiden av Hotel Residence og passerer Ravelsveita hvor husene på sørsiden er revet slik at det har oppstått en åpen plass i kvartalet.
