English: Berry Brow 1st railway station (site), Yorkshire Opened in 1850 by the Huddersfield & Sheffield Junction Railway which became part of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's empire, the passenger station, which closed in 1966, was behind the camera position. This view north west is across the station's former coal sidings, towards Lockwood and Huddersfield. A new Berry Brow station was opened in 1989 around 300m behind this camera position. |
