English: Berry Beeches, New Forest. This is an isolated and aptly named area with many fine old beech trees but where past storm damage and over-maturity is taking its toll. [Information from Discovering the New Forest by Terry Heathcote]. These beeches are on the western edge alongside the path that leads north out of Berry Wood towards Backley Plain. |
