Description
English: The Beromünster cantatorium contains the solo sung parts of the mass with notation, and some tropes added during the 14th century. Among these are the Kyrie tropes Kyrie fons bonitatis and Cunctipotens. The examples of conductus are interesting. The codex is bound in a wooden case with two ivory panels from the 8th-9th century.
Deutsch: Das Cantatorium von Beromünster enthält die solistisch vorgetragenen Gesänge der Messe mit Notation, und als Nachtrag des 14. Jhs. einige Tropen. Unter diesen die Kyrientrope Kyrie fons bonitatis und Cunctipotens. Interessant ist der Bestand an Conductus. Der Codex ist in einen Holzkasten mit zwei Elfenbeintafeln des 8.-9. Jhs. eingebunden.
Français : Le cantatorium de Beromünster contient les chants solistiques de la messe avec la notation et quelques tropes ajoutés au XIVe s. Parmi ces tropes, figurent ceux du Kyrie, le Kyrie fons bonitatis et le Cunctipotens. La version du conductus est remarquable. Le codex est relié dans une caissette de bois recouverte de deux tablettes d’ivoire du VIIIe-IXe s.
Italiano: Il Cantatorio di Beromünster contiene i canti solistici della messa con notazione e, quali aggiunte del sec. XIV, alcuni tropi, tra i quali quelli per il Kyrie Kyrie fons bonitatis e Cunctipotens. Interessante anche la versione del conductus. La rilegatura del codice è costituita da assi in legno nelle quali sono inserite due tavole in avorio del sec. VIII-IX.
