Object history Coleção Angelo Antonio Rósea
Notes Part o a set originally composed by twelve paintings (oil on slate) representing Christ and the apostles, of which eight are housed in the collection of the Museu Nacional de Belas Artes. The paintings were attributed to Bernardino Luini in the 19th-century. Contemporary literature tends to defer its dating to later in the 16th-century or early 17th-century. Attributions to the brothers Giovanni Battista and Giovanni Mauro Della Rovere have also been considered.
