English: Southeastern part of the commercial buildings at Rosenstraße No. 16-19 in Berlin-Mitte, now seat of the City Stay Hostel Berlin; it was built 1894/1895 by Heinrich Joseph Kayser and Karl von Großheim. The northeastern part (not pictured) is by Otto March and stands at the corner of Rochstraße. The building complex originally had seven inner yards of which four have been preserved. The wing extending to Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße (now Karl-Liebknecht-Straße) was destroyed in WWII. The building complex had been dedicated as a historic landmark. |
