Description
Deutsch: Das ehemalige "Schuhhaus Zentrum" in der Karl-Marx-Allee 46, in Berlin-Mitte (dahinter der Wohnblock Karl-Marx-Allee No. 38/44). Der Pavillon wurde beim Ausbau der westlichen Karl-Marx-Allee im Jahr 1962 nach einem Entwurf der Architekten Josef Kaiser und Walter Franek errichtet. Als Teil der Gesamtanlage um "Kino International" und "Café Moskau" ist er denkmalgeschützt.
English: The former shoe shop "Zentrum" at Karl-Marx-Allee No. 46 in Berlin-Mitte (with the apartment block Karl-Marx-Allee No. 38/44 in the background). The pavilion was built in 1962 during construction of the western part of Karl-Marx-Allee. The design is by the architects Josef Kaiser and Walter Franek. The pavilion is part of a historic landmark also encompassing "Kino International" and "Café Moskau".
