Description
Deutsch: Geschäftshaus in der Jägerstraße 65 in Berlin-Mitte, erbaut 1909-1910 vom Architekten H. Röthing für den Kaufmann Georg Meyer als Vergnügungsstätte. In dem Haus befanden sich verschiedene Gaststätten, so eine altdeutsche "Bauernschänke" und in den 1920er-Jahren ein Cabaret. Das Gebäude wurde von 1999 bis 2003 saniert, einschließlich des vornehmen Marmortreppenhauses. Seitdem befinden sich in den Obergeschossen Büroräume, die unter anderem vom Verband der Bahnindustrie als Hauptsitz genutzt werden. Außerdem wurde eine Dachgeschosswohnung ausgebaut. Als Teil des Bauensembles Mauerstraße ist das Gebäude denkmalgeschützt.
