Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Commercial building at Friedrichstraße No. 61, corner of Kronenstraße (on the left) in Berlin-Mitte, built 1909 to 1910 by Robert Leibnitz. The building is characterized by a vertical structure with large windows, typical for commercial buildings on Friedrichstraße at that time. The corner risalit, the engaged pillars made of limestone and the architectural sculptures by Richard Kühn point out the influence of Gothic church architecture. The cupola and the modern figure at the corner were added during renovation in 1995. The building has been dedicated as a historic landmark.
