Description
Deutsch: Früheres Bürger- und heutiges Mietshaus Am Kupfergraben 6A in Berlin-Mitte. Das Gebäude an der Ecke zur Bauhofstraße wurde zwischen 1828 und 1833 errichtet und 1856 durch ein Geschoss aufgestockt. Die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg stark vereinfacht wiederhergestellten Fassaden wurden 1996-1997 entsprechend der ursprünglichen Fassung rekonstruiert. Im Untergeschoss des Hauses liegt das Restaurant "Pergamonkeller". Das Gebäude ist als Baudenkmal ausgewiesen.
English: House Am Kupfergraben 6A in Berlin-Mitte. The building at the corner of Bauhofstraße was built 1828 to 1833 as a town house and is now an apartment house. A story was added in 1856. After the building had been damaged in WWII, the facades were restored in a simplified version. They were reconstruced in the original style from 1996 to 1997. In the basement of the house, the restaurant "Pergamonkeller" is located. The building has been designated a historical landmark.
