Description
Deutsch: Der Saalbau des Marinehauses, Am Köllnischen Park 4, in Berlin-Mitte. Der seit den 1980er-Jahren leer stehende Gebäudeteil soll zwischen 2010 und 2012 als Erweiterung des benachbarten Märkischen Museums umgebaut werden. Die neuen Ausstellungsflächen werden die Berliner Stadtgeschichte seit 1918 behandeln. Der Umbau mit Anfügung moderner Gebäudeteile erfolgt nach einem Entwurf des Londoner Architekturbüros Stanton Williams Architects. Der gesamte Komplex des Marinehauses steht als Teil des Bauensembles Am Köllnischen Park unter Denkmalschutz.
