Deutsch: Familiengrab Weber auf dem Friedhof IV der Jerusalems- und Neuen Kirche an der Bergmannstraße 45-47 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Bestattet wurden hier der Jurist und Politiker Max Weber sen. (1836-1897) und seine Frau Helene Weber, geb. Fallenstein (1844-1919), dieTochter Clara Mommsen, geb. Weber (1875-1953), sowie Claras Ehemann, der Arzt Ernst Mommsen (1863-1930), ein Sohn des Historikers Theodor Mommsen. Außerdem erinnert eine Tafel auf dem Grabstein an Max und Helenes Sohn, den Architekten Carl Weber (1870-1915), der während des Ersten Weltkriegs in Brest-Litowsk fiel. Zwei weitere Söhne von Max und Helene, die Soziologen Max Weber jun. (1864-1920) und Alfred Weber (1868-1958), ruhen hingegen auf dem Bergfriedhof in Heidelberg.
English: Family grave Weber on the Cemetery IV of the Jerusalem and New Church at Bergmannstraße No. 45-47 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. This is the final resting place of the jurist and politician Max Weber senior (1836-1897) and his wife Helene Weber, née Fallenstein (1875-1919), of their daughter Clara Mommsen, née Weber (1875-1953), and of Clara's husband, the doctor Ernst Mommsen (1863-1930), a son on the historian Theodor Mommsen. In addition, a plate on the gravestone remembers Max and Helene's son, the architekt Carl Weber (1870-1915), who died in WWI in Brest-Litovsk. However, two other sons of Max and Helene, the sociologists Max Weber jun. (1864-1920) and Alfred Weber (1868-1958) are buried on the Bergfriedhof cemetery in Heidelberg. |
