English: First Kaiser-Friedrich-Gedächtniskirche (Emperor Friedrich Memorial Church) Berlin - Tiergarten, plan by Johannes Vollmer 1892. The map shows the available building site and projected church building on the northern edge of the Tiergarten (North is to the right). The project planning required positioning of the church tower on the North-South axis of the Lessingstrasse. The church was built according to the plan in 1893-1895
Deutsch: Kaiser Friedrich Gedächtniskirche - Entwurf Johannes Vollmer 1892, Lageplan für die Kirche am Nordrand des Tiergartens (Nord ist im Bilde rechts). Das vom Staat vorgesehene Baugelände ist im Westen vom Charlottenhof, im Osten von der Tiergartenwiese begrenzt. Der Bauplan sah vor, den Turm auf die Nord-Süd Achse der Lessingstrasse auszurichten. Die Kirche wurde in dieser Lage 1893-1895 errichtet. |
