English: In connection with the construction of an addition on a building, an archeological field survey was conducted at Husbyåsen, Stjørdal.
The field survey found a settlement, probably from the bronze age and possibly even as far back as the early stone age. The findings consisted of the remains of two three aisled houses, one one aisled house, and a construction linked with a field islet. The settlement also contained hearths, earth ovens and landfills. Overall, the survey unveiled two field islets, of which contained close to 100 cup marks, and one with three foot sole markings and a few cup marks. In addition, they found a rock surface with 3 delicate motifs of boats, and one rock surface with three distinctly carved motifs of boats. |
