Rückseite: + WIPPERFVRDENS / + BNDICTV SIT NOME DNI NRI DEI IhV XP. Kreuz umgeben von doppeltem Schriftkreis. Kommentar: 1328 erteilte Kaiser Ludwig IV. der Bayer dem Grafen Adolf VIII. von Berg das Recht, Turnosengroschen in Wipperfürth zu schlagen. Die Turnosen Adolfs VIII. sind teils mit dessen Namen, teils mit Namen Kaiser Ludwigs des Bayern geschlagen worden. Dieses Stück ist das einzige, auf dem Wipperfürth als Münzstätte namentlich genannt ist. Literatur: H.
