Description:

Bergère à dossier plat, de forme mouvementée, en hêtre naturel.

Description iconographique:

Le hêtre est mouluré et sculpté de rinceaux. La ceinture et le dossier son ornés en leur centre d’un motif de fleur sur fond de coquille. Les accotoirs sont garnis de manchettes et la bergère est couverte de damas à grands motifs crème sur fond framboise avec finition en passementerie. Commentaire historique:

A son arrivée au musée, cette bergère était recouverte d’un velours clouté à motifs de fleurs, feuilles et rinceaux. Cette garniture a été changée lors d’une restauration en 1988.
