Description
English: Painting by James Hope (1818-1892). This artwork is in the public domain because the artist died more than 100 years ago. This image was retrieved, with thanks, from The Athenaeum art site. The image itself is in the public domain because "faithful reproductions of two-dimensional public domain works of art are public domain" according to Wikimedia Commons policy.
