| Description |
English: Site of Beningbrough station, East Coast Main Line, 1995. View NW, towards Northallerton, Darlington, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Nothing whatever is left of the station, which was closed 15/9/58 to such passengers as it ever had, 5/7/65 to goods. Nevertheless, this 'Racing Stretch' between York and Northallerton has always been one of the busiest stretches of main line in Britain - believe it or not. |
