Summary
[edit]DescriptionBen Nevis - geograph.org.uk - 1053.jpg |
English: Ben Nevis. At 4406 Feet above Sea Level, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. I would have loved to have posted a photo from the actual summit trigpoint, I've been there twice. In 1991 my film vanished at the developers while in 2001 the mist was so thick that there was no "View" to photograph. This photo is taken from close to the summit, looking west along what is known as the "Tourist Path" the tiny strip of water in the background is Loch Eil, with Fort William behind the cloud. The other lake is Lochan Meall an t-Suidhe at 1840 feet. |
