Description Ben Lomond is the most Southerly Munro in Scotland and the closest to Glasgow. Munroes are Scottish hills more than 3,000 feet in height. Now, this is quite small compared to say the Alps, Rockies or others, but as you can see, given Scotland's latitude, in winter they can be quite fierce
