Description
English: A copper alloy belt mount dating from the twelfth or thirteenth centuries AD. The mount possesses a rectangular body which is hemispherical in section. Two sub-rectangular section attachment lugs extend from the underside of the body. The body extends to a oval section hook which loops back on itself. The hook possesses a triangular grooved terminal. The mount measures 36mm in length, 9mm in width and 8mm in thickness.
