Description

F. The IR image reveals that the patron saint used to be dressed in a hooded cape. His attire and attributes visible in the painting are the result of subsequent changes to the paint layer.

G. The IR photograph captures the image of the figure that was later painted over. This was probably done at the same time as the modifications to the areas featuring the donor and patron saint.
