Therewas no answer at home, and all hecould tell the attendant was that hiswife worked for one of a number ofinsurance companies in a large build-ing. With some ingenuity on the partof the attendant and the long distanceoperator, the right company wasfound and the soldier talked to hisbride. He almost missed his bus inhis desire to thank the attendants. One sailor, impressed with the at-tendants courteous and helpful atti-tude, said he had been a student ofpublic relations and felt it his dutyto tell his friends of the fine workbeing done by the telephone company.
