In cities using frequently reprintedbook records, both the alphabeticaland street address records are broughtup to date and reprinted at frequentintervals. Between printing intervals,the alphabetical record is supple-mented with a printed alphabeticallist known as the daily addendum.This list is placed on the Informationswitchboard early each morning, andcontains all the new and changed list-ings which have occurred from thetime the alphabetical record went topress up to the close of business theprevious day.
