The Company has thrownits full weight of man-power and ma-chines into (1) the manufacture ofradio and other communication itemsfor the Army, the Navy, and the AirCorps, and (2) the engineering, manu-facture, and installation of telephoneequipment ordered through the BellSystem operating companies for serv-ice in government defense establish-ments, in vital privately-owned de-fense plants, in Bell System centraloffices and cross-country circuits ex-panding to meet the communicationsdemands of a nation girding itself forany eventuality.
