The telephone speeds productionof planes and tanks and guns. Tele-phone messages direct the rapid move-ment of troops and equipment. Warn-ings of possible enemy air attack areflashed over telephone lines. On awar front stretching around the world,telephone and radio-telephone give in-stant communication. Americas tele-phone system serves all industry thatserves the Army, and it serves theArmy all the time.
