Co., Samuel T.Gushing traces the development ofthe Association during a third of acentury from small beginnings to itspresent position of importance. Inplant work with the New EnglandTelephone and Telegraph Companyfrom 1906 to 1927, he was on thestaff of the plant operation resultsengineer of the A. T. & T. Companyfor the next dozen years until hispresent appointment.
