Similar equipment was used in Treasury Department operations at 63 Wall Street and 195 Broadway thank the entire staff for the splen-did cooperation which made possi-ble the success of the undertaking.As well as being of convenience tostockholders without banking or bro-kerage facilities, the arrangement withBankers Trust Co. helped solve theproblem of how to dispose of therights of nationals of blocked coun-tries. At the time of the offer, 2,100of the Companys stockholders residedin blocked countries into which it wasillegal to send the rights, and another1,300 resided in other places outsideof continental United States where itwould have been impracticable to mailwarrants because of the time factor.To protect their interests, all thesestockholders were sent special noticesstating that their rights would be sold for their accounts through BankersTrust Co. on the exp
