Description
English: c/n unknown. Full US military serial 42-19027 but it is sometimes mistaken for 42-4949. Delivered to the USAAF on April 28, 1943. Operated from during June 1943 until July 16,1944, when it was abandoned at Taji Airfield, West Sepik, Papua New Guinea. Recovered by Military Aircraft Restoration Company(MARC) that was founded David Tallichet’s organization in 1974, from an abandoned site. In 1987, Frederick A. Johnson get it. Acquired by POFAM in 2002 and restored for static display. It was being restored again at Planes of Fame Air Museum, Chino, California, USA, when I visited. 20th September 2019
