Piety Street at Burgundy in the Bywater section of New Orleans. Corner with neighborhood grocery building and early Mardi Gras morning revelers in costume on street. The "Piety Supermarket" / "Bell Discount" building seen in background was the original location of the first of the Schwegmann's chain of supermarkets. The building burned down the night of 24/25 March 2020. |
