After leaving the Aquarium, we pass Thompson & Bennetts Hotel,one of the first established and most refined hotels on the island. It is runon the European plan, contains thirty rooms, is situated within one minuteswalk from Culvers Depot, and its rates are from twelve to twenty dollarsper week, according to location of rooms.
