Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Belgravia: The Wilton Arms, Kinnerton Street, SW1 As the inscription suggests the Wilton Arms was built in 1826, at the time when the Duke of Westminster's Grosvenor Estate was being developed. The reference to "Britain's Oldest Brewer" is to the landlords, Shepherd Neame of Faversham, founded in 1698. Kinnerton is the name of a village in Cheshire 587289 close to Eaton Hall, the family seat of the Duke of Westminster. The floral display is quite exceptional!
