| Description |
English: Belemnite pavement, Seatown, Dorset This is the view from Seatown beach towards Golden cap. The belemnite pavement, lying at the top of the belemnite marls, is fully exposed showing the stone which is packed with fossil belemnites. The shingle sometimes covers the belemnite stone to a depth of 10-15ft depending on the weather. The lower cliffs on the right are the Green Ammonite Beds |
