nglions liegendie Fasern des Solitärfascikels; dieselben ziehen strahlenförmig nachinnen, kreuzen die Mittellinie und verzweigen sich nach vielfachenKrümmungen mit Vorliebe in der Ganglionhälfte der entgegengesetztenSeite. Zuweilen verdoppelt sich die Endfaser auf dem Zuge zur Com-missur und sendet eine oder mehrere Fasern in die auf derselben Seitegelegene Hälfte des Ganglions. Die EndVerzweigungen sind ausser-ordentlich zahlreich und erzeugen zwischen den Zellen des Ganglionseinen der dichtesten Plexus, die man im Centralnervensystem sehen kann. Die Zellen des Commissurenkems sind klein, spindelförmig, ovoidoder dreieckig; ihre Protoplasmafortsätze zart und fast glatt; sieziehen zum grossen Theil transversal und einige von ihnen kreuzen die Fasciculus solitarius. 47 Eaphe. Die Axencylinder sind äusserst zart und bilden Bündelchen, die,nach aussen und vorn ziehend, sich bis zum Lemniscus zu erstreckenund zum Theil mit den anderseitigen zu kreuzen scheinen.
