Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Dong Yue Miao, Beijing

This Daoist temple, founded in the Yuan dynasty, is dedicated to Yama as Dong Yue, the God of the Mountain, and to the cult of the dead at Mount Tai. After falling into disrepair, the temple was restored and reopened in the late 1990s.

The temple's main gate is seen here. The photo looks north, up the main axis of the temple.
