Description
English: Triple Crane. West Palaces, Forbidden City, Beijing

This fanciful incense burner is cast in the form of a crane, the symbol of longevity, with three heads(!) attached to the feathers, body, and long legs of the bird. Access to the inside of the vessel is from the top, where the neck of the front head joins the body of the vessel.
