Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Beggar's Bridge near Glaisdale These days we take river crossings for granted, but the elegant arch of beggar's bridge is a potent reminder of earlier times. Built by Tom Ferris, a Glaisdale man, the bridge still bears his initials and the date of 1619.
