Description
English: DALLAS -- Hospital patients from Beaumont, Texas, are taken off a C-5 Galaxy Sept. 23 en route to one of the many medical facilities set up to care for evacuees from the path of Hurricane Rita. The aircraft is from the from the 21st Airlift Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The U.S. Air Force is contributing to the Hurricane Rita humanitarian assistance operations being led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
