The historic Bone Cabin with barbed wire fence and windmill.

Before Agate Fossil Beds became a National Monument, this modest cabin was used to homestead the section which included the Fossil Hills quarries. The cabin was then used by the paleontologists. This historic building was restored and can be seen on the Bone Cabin Loop on the Fossil Hills Trail.
