Description
English: Beet Harvesting near Seavington St Mary. This Edenhall beet harvester was at work just off Park Lane opposite Putcombe Copse to the west of Seavington St Mary. The harvester was working his way up one side of the field and down the other gradually reducing the section of un-harvested crop in the middle of the field. On every second pass he would empty the hopper on the harvester into a large tractor pulled trailer waiting at the side of the field. The operator was kind enough to give me permission to photograph him while he was hard at work.
