English: Been cleaning the Augean stables? On a raw January day a lone rower tows a boatload of rubbish excavated from a canalside building towards the red Biffa bin in Ogilvie Terrace, Merchiston. For some reason the water level in the canal was lower than usual that day; note the "tidemark" along the towpath wall and the grounded blue and white rowing boat by the tree on the right. |
