Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A partially excavated temple lying in ruins, Bijamandala Temple is virtually unexplored as compared to the other temples and tourist places in Khajuraho. Spanning farther than the largest temple, Kandariya Mahadev, Bijamandal was deemed unsuitable for visitors due to the destruction it suffered during its construction. Despite its dilapidated, partly excavated facade, the temple still manages to captivate the minds of history and religion enthusiasts and remains to be the largest temple in the Southern Group of Temples.
