Er cof am Mary Jones. Yr hon yn y flwyddyn 1800 pan yn 16 oed, a gerddodd o Lanfihangel-y- Pennant i’r Bala i geisio Beibl Cymraeg gan y Parch Thomas Charles B.A. Bu yr amgylchiad hwn yn foddion i ddwyn oddiamgylch sefydliad y Feibl Gymdeithas Frydanaidd a Thramor. Codwyd y gof-golofn hon gan aelodau ysgolion sabathol Sir Feirionydd.English: Grave of Mary Jones at Bethlehem chapel, Bryncrug.
In memory of Mary Jones who in the year 1800 at the age of 16 walked from Llanfihangel-y-Pennant to Bala to procure a copy of a Welsh Bible from the Rev. Thomas Charles B.A. This incident led tot the formation of the British and Foreign Bible Society. This monument was erected by the members of the Sunday Schools of Merionethshire.
