English: Pieced and applique bedcover with central square section with applique printed cotton motifs of pair of pheasants under fruiting tree amidst flowers; with applique flower-oak leaf motifs to each corner of this central square; followed by band of meandering stars, pieced; followed by large section of all-over pattern of alternating rows (right across quilt, except central panel) of stars (seven hexagons) and hexagons of coloured fabrics on a background of cream pieced hexagons; Outer band of meandering stars formed of six pentagons; each band separated by a continuous printed lace-like pattern; edged with twill woven cream binding
