| Description |
English: Bed of former Bude Canal, Cann Orchard, 1976. The disused canal crosses a minor road just south of Cann Orchard and the OS map spot height of 41m. The canal is clearly marked on the 1947 OS map, but is shown as a track on the 1960's 7th edition 1" OS map and disappears from the modern Landranger series. It is however still marked in its eastern continuation as an old canal on the current 1:25k Explorer map. |
